Finnair's MD-11, registration OH-LGF (c/n 48554), was a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 delivered to the airline in 2004, serving as part of their long-haul fleet until 2010. Known for wearing special "Moomin" character liveries, this aircraft was used on routes to Asia, including Tokyo and Bangkok.

Key Details of OH-LGF:
Service History: Originally delivered to Belgium's CityBird (as OO-CTB) before joining Finnair.
Finnair Operation: Entered service with Finnair in 2004, being part of the later-added trio of E, F, and G to their MD-11 fleet.
Features: Often photographed in special Moomin livery, featuring characters on the fuselage, note users on JetPhotos and Wikimedia Commons.
Retirement: Finnair retired their MD-11 passenger fleet around 2010, transitioning to Airbus A330/A340 aircraft.

OH-LGF was part of the final, later additions to the Finnair fleet, which, along with OH-LGE and OH-LGG, bolstered their Asian expansion before being replaced by Airbus aircraft, as discussed in this
